Description

I created this modular system to help positioning the four 192mm x 158mm Genmitsu Honeycomb plates to help protect the base plate of the xTool M2. It consists of four corners, of which the bottom ones include compartiments to hold the jigs included with the honeycombs, and four pannels that go under the honeycombs to prevent the baseplate from being scratched through the holes. The complete system also extends the grooves until the complete laser working area. Using the panels will reduce the clearance of the working area by 1.5mm (thus 6mm in total with the honeycombs).

I also included modifications for the bottom corners without jig compartiments.

As I am unsure what the plastic below the honeycombs will give in the long run, I also included a print profile for when you only want the corners. These will still extend the grooves to the left and right, but do not reduce the clearance.
