Z-Axis Side Cable Guide — Bambu Lab A1

This clip was designed to properly guide the side cable of the Bambu Lab A1 Z-axis, keeping the cable on the correct path throughout the entire movement of the Z-axis.

In the setup recommended by the manufacturer, the AMS Lite is typically positioned next to the printer, close to the path of this cable. When the Z-axis moves downward, the cable can flex outward toward the side, getting closer to the AMS Lite and, in some situations, wrapping around or getting caught on it.

This can restrict the movement of the Z-axis and potentially cause print failures or even interrupt a print.

🔧 Simple and Effective Solution

The model works as a cable guide clip, with a fit designed specifically for the Bambu Lab A1, keeping the cable routed toward the back of the printer.

The main advantage of this design is that it guides the cable without limiting the Z-axis travel.

Unlike some other models available on MakerWorld that also route the cable toward the back, this design was created to avoid excessively pinching or restricting the cable during vertical movement. This allows the cable to follow the entire Z-axis travel more freely and naturally.
